AYPCL aims at encouraging sport of Cricket in Youth, Women & Men of the United States.

AYPCL is a brand being established to provide a new outlook to the domestic cricket of the United States.

It will be created as a brand of T20 & ODI youth cricket of the United States below the age of 25 years.

First time ever, a youth T20 & ODI league will be initiated within the United States to provide an international platform to the domestic youth players of the ountry by introducing talents and competition.

“To provide the opportunity for all youth, regardless of Age, Race, Religion, Gender, Culture, Disabilities or Background to play quality cricket in a friendly environment in the true spirit of the game. And to make Cricket as No: 1 youth Sport in USA”

Mission is Two-Fold:

Current Challenges

Lack of belief in youth that there is a future in cricket. This leads to parents who are reluctant to encourage their children to train and coach and pursue their cricketing dream.

USA presents its own challenges, depending on the demographics, the weather, conditions, daylight, etc.

Culture is a factor as well, as cricket is relatively low key in MSM and Schools.

Focus on education to secure top Jobs instead of pursuing their individual strengths, resulting in loss of talent who stops playing.
